The One Hundred lamp is a minimalistic combination of a lamp and an air purifier. It provides efficient light and pure air, creating a pleasant experience in various spaces, including offices and homes. The design's unique properties lie in its dual functionality and its inspiration from the number 100, making it stand out from other products in the market.
The lamp's body structure is made of three main parts: a base plate cut from a 10mm iron sheet, a column made out of aluminium extrusion, and a head part that includes lights and air filters, built from CNC machined aluminium. The design is modular and easy to assemble, making it user-friendly and surpassing other devices in terms of ease of operation.
The One Hundred lamp offers adjustable light intensity and temperature, catering to different user needs. It also features a full circle of light, providing better focus for the user. In addition to its lighting capabilities, the lamp also purifies the air, making it a valuable addition to any space, especially in the current pandemic context where air purification has become crucial.
The project, which started in December 2020 and ended in February 2021, faced significant challenges in combining a light and an air purifier into a single unit. The team had to consider the different shapes, production stages, and technologies used in both devices, requiring varying structures. Despite these challenges, the team successfully designed a product that is both creative and unique.
The One Hundred lamp is not just a product; it is a testament to the power of innovative thinking and the potential of numbers in design. It stands out for its creativity, uniqueness, and multifunctionality, offering a glimpse into the future of design where numbers find their paths into the world of design.
